Bathtub Accessories – Installation, Comfort, and Bath Safety

Bathtub accessories are essential products that enable proper bathtub installation while enhancing comfort and safety during your daily bath. Whether you are installing a rectangular, corner, or freestanding tub, carefully chosen bathtub accessories allow you to fully enjoy your home relaxation zone.

Bath Pillows – Comfort for Long Baths

A bath pillow is a compact, waterproof accessory that turns an ordinary bath into pure relaxation. Attached to the tub rim via suction cups, it provides comfortable head and neck support. You will find universal bath pillows as well as dedicated models designed for specific tub shapes, sizes, and materials, making it easy to match your personal preferences.

Tub Feet and Mounting Frames – Stable Installation

The foundation of a safe installation relies on bathtub feet and mounting frames. Bathtub feet act as adjustable supports, allowing you to set the precise height and level the tub accurately. A bathtub mounting frame offers a more robust structural solution—a solid frame or fitted support brackets ensuring overall stability. This is particularly crucial for acrylic and freestanding bathtubs. Additionally, polystyrene insulation bases serve as extra mounting elements that dampen water noise and improve thermal insulation.

Siphons, Drain Kits, and Overflows

Proper water drainage is a key element that cannot be overlooked during installation. A bathtub siphon connects the tub to the drainage network and prevents foul odors from escaping back into the room. Drain and overflow sets equipped with a click-clack system provide easy one-handed stopper operation—a single press opens or closes the drain. The tub overflow acts as an additional safety feature to prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor.

Tub Covers, Panels, and Sealing Strips

For a clean aesthetic finish, bathtub enclosures and bath panels hide exposed elements seamlessly. Front and side panels available in various finishes allow you to cover feet, siphons, and drain pipes quickly while maintaining easy service access. Sealing strips tightly seal the gap between the tub edge and the wall to stop water leakage. Dedicated mounting profile sets are used for securing the panels into place.

Grab Bars and Safety Rails – Bathing Security

Bathtub grab bars and handrails are safety accessories that significantly improve mobility inside the bathing area. They facilitate getting into and out of the tub safely, minimizing the risk of slipping. They are strongly recommended for bathrooms used by the elderly, children, or individuals with limited mobility. Mounted directly onto the bathtub edge or the adjacent wall, they require no complicated installation.

Bathtub Trays and Storage Accessories

A bathtub tray is a practical addition to any bathroom layout. Rested across the tub edges, it lets you conveniently keep toiletries, candles, books, or tablets within easy reach. Adjustable widths ensure it fits most standard bathtub sizes. It is a simple organizational tool that keeps your bath area tidy and essential items close at hand.

Over-Bath Shower Screens – Tub and Shower in One

When bathroom space does not allow for a separate shower enclosure, an over-bath shower screen combines the benefits of a bathtub and a shower in one space. Options include single-panel, double-panel, and multi-panel folding designs—crafted from tempered glass or synthetic materials to suit any bathroom layout. The screen effectively prevents water splashes on the floor and gives the room a modern appearance.

How to Choose the Right Bathtub Accessories

When purchasing bathtub accessories, consider your bathtub type and individual functional requirements. A built-in bathtub typically requires a support frame, bath panels, and a suitable drain kit, whereas a freestanding tub needs dedicated decorative feet and an exposed siphon finish. Bath pillows, grab rails, and bath trays are versatile add-ons suitable for any bathroom.
