Cabinet Lavita NUVIO 80 matt white

The Lavita NUVIO 80 wall-hung cabinet in matt white is the foundation of a fitted washbasin area. Mounted to the wall without legs, it is designed to take a matching cabinet basin. The catalogue dimensions are 800 mm wide, 455 mm deep and 480 mm high.

The matt white finish, smooth front and rounded edges give the cabinet a subtle, contemporary look. Its soft lines sit well alongside curved mirrors, light-coloured tiles and accessories in wood and stone shades. The simple form works particularly well in minimalist bathrooms.

The interior provides room for cosmetics, personal care products and other small items. It helps cut down on the clutter left around the basin and makes the bathroom easier to keep tidy.

Wall-hung mounting leaves the space beneath the unit clear, which makes the floor easier to clean. The exposed floor also gives the installation a sense of visual lightness. The mounting height should be matched to the height of the people using it and to the intended position of the top edge of the basin.

When choosing a basin, take into account the dimensions and the rounded shape of the cabinet. Matching the two elements creates a coherent washbasin area. Before installation, also check the fixing method and the space needed for the waste and trap.

Frequently asked questions

What are the dimensions of the NUVIO 80 cabinet?

The catalogue dimensions are 800 mm wide, 455 mm deep and 480 mm high. When planning the installation, also check the dimensions of the matching basin and the space needed to use the unit comfortably.

What is the cabinet's finish like?

The NUVIO 80 model has a matt white finish, a smooth front and rounded edges. The plain surface and soft lines give it a calm, minimalist character.

What can be stored in the cabinet?

The interior can be used for cosmetics, everyday care products and other bathroom odds and ends. Organisers help to sort smaller items and keep them within easy reach.

How do I choose a basin for the NUVIO 80 cabinet?

Choose a cabinet basin matched to the dimensions, shape and support arrangement of the body. A width of 800 mm alone is not enough to confirm compatibility — the depth, the rounded corners and the space for the waste and trap matter too.

At what height should the cabinet be hung?

The mounting height should be set with the intended position of the top edge of the basin in mind. The final position should allow everyone in the household to use the washbasin area comfortably and should follow the installation instructions.

Can the cabinet be fitted to a plasterboard wall?

Whether installation is possible depends on the construction of the wall and its load-bearing capacity. The structure must have suitable reinforcement and fixings rated for the combined weight of the cabinet, its contents and the basin. The method of installation should be agreed with the fitter and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
